Race Car Suspension Design

The Racecar design is my latest class project that I was working on. The main goal for this project is to assemble the suspension system of the car into the chassis and analyzed its motion. The type of spring that is being used for the suspension is the coil spring and the design of the spring can be looked at in the second picture.

There are a few important measurements that need to be taken during the assembly of the spring. Setting the required distance between the two rockers that holds the other end of the suspension is one of the important measurement as it is the only components that connect the suspension to the upper control arm.

For the spring of the suspension to work as intended, I solved the spring component properties as flexible. I set the starting crack angle of both springs at a 75-degree and tested both suspensions to stretch until it reaches a 135-degree angle. The animation of the testing can be seen below.
